Hi WPCF fam!
We have lots of exciting things happening this month and want to keep you all in the loop:
– Beginning Thursday May 2nd, we’ll have 6am and 8:30am classes on Thursdays!
– Community WOD happening Saturday May 4th at 10am! This workout is FREE and open to the public! All other Saturdays of the month, 10am classes are still open to the public, but a $10 drop in fee.
– BINGO ends May 6th! Complete as many squares as you can. Each BINGO on your card gets you one entry into our drawing. Giveaways include: WPCF Apparel, Fleet Feet Gift Cards, Young Cardinal Gift Cards, Sage & Salt Bistro Gift Cards, Hakka Chow Gift Cards & more!! We have plenty of BINGO card print outs available at the gym. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to any of our coaches.
– Kale is hosting a cookout at his house on Saturday May 11th! Please RSVP directly to Kale by Tuesday May 7th.
– Our first-ever LIFT OFF event is happening at the gym on Friday May 17th beginning at 5:30pm! This is an in-house event but is open to our CrossFit members and Weightlifting members. Event will be capped at 20 athletes and is $15 per person. ALL proceeds go toward purchasing additional weightlifting equipment for the gym. Questions about the format of a lift off? It’s appropriate for ALL levels. Jess, Wes or Gavin can answer any questions you may have. Email brooke@washingtonparkcrossfit.com to reserve your spot.
– MURPH is happening on Monday, May 27th. We’ll have a 9am and 10am heat. Please sign up in advance on Wodify! If both of these heats are filled, we’ll add an additional heat. EVERYONE who participates in Murph this year will receive an exclusive WPCF Murph 2024 patch!
